New Channels always generate a lot of discussion so this thread is for discussing new channels in 2010.

You're welcome to speculate and discuss new channels coming to Videotron in 2010 but PLEASE unless it's been confirmed by an official press release, be clear about what is speculation and what is fact.

A post saying "a CSR said it was coming" is NOT official, however, it does put it in the "highly" likely category.

If its posted on the CRTC site that its been approved by the CRTC but Videotron has not said anything, I would consider that in the "not very likely at this time" category.

Now BellTV got TCM. When Videotron stop being so blind and offer TCM to us.

Not a lot of people care and want an old movie channel...There are a lot of channel that would get a spot before that one.

I would prefer that they add more HD TMN channels, such as M excess and M fun which are only SD at the moment.

To stefx72. At least it's your personal choice, you're talking for yourself, not for a lot of people and that's fine.

TCM is not your flash in the pan TV channel. It's THE BEST movie channel featuring old and classic movies without commercial and without monthly repetition contrary to all the movie channels

Does anyone know if Videotron plans to add the 4 "High Fidelity HD" channels this year (Oasis HD, Treasure HD, Rush HD, and Equator HD)? Bell has had these for a long time and Rogers added them over a year ago. They offer great documentary programming and are entirely commercial-free.

Also, is HDNet in the pipeline?

Does anyone know if Videotron has any plans to add the CBS College Sports channel? I know Bell offers it (along with the HD version). Also, I subscribe to MPix (custom selection) and was wondering if this will get me the HD version of the channel?

I'm new to Videotron and am still trying to figure everything out. TV service is much different up here in Quebec than it is down south!

Chuck to my knowledge, videotron does not offer Mpix HD and I have not see anywhere they would offer it this year, but hey, I would love to see someone say I'm wrong. But I did check before posting as best as I could

I would like to ask here... Do the APTN Channel HD that was add this year is different then the Standard one? I have checked it a few times, they seems to have different programming schedule. Is it a time zone thing (teh HD channel, is it comming from another timezone?)
