X.V. Colour support - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

My LCD TV supports the X.V. Colour extended palette. I'm not sure how that comes into play. Do the Shaw HD boxes support XV? How do I enable it?
How else does one utilize the XV Colour? Bluray? HTPC?

Hey LD,

After doing some reading, it looks like it's still a very early format. According to Wikipedia, it's not standardized in Blu-ray yet. I see no reason this extended color set wouldn't be supported in an HTPC. But, given that it's only really supported by AVCHD and PS3, I would highly doubt there is any plan in the near future to add support to the shaw boxes.
