Default SBGH w/o reflector: gain plot?

If available, can someone please post the gain plot for the single bay GH w/o reflector antenna?
Thanks

Following the "GH Gold Design" link, here's webpage showing various Gray-Hoverman designs:
http://www.jedsoft.org/fun/antennas/dtv/gh.html
You can comment out the reflectors in the various NEC files and plot them yourself....

JEDs optimized reflector designs dont work too well reflector-less. For example, his GH10 without a reflector is a disaster.

Heres JEDs reflector-less version, not posted on that site :

Thumbs up Centipede SBGH comparison

Quote:
I am sure that "Centipede" could be much improved.
It would be nice if this comparison composite result wouldn't be burried in the hundreds of posts of the "Area 51" becuse the results are speaking pretty clearly. The file used for comparison is listed below the composite picture for those who what to try doing this task.
bokakob, I couldn't agree more. The work you have been doing is great on the centipede. Have you compared the centipede with and without the wiskers? I was wondering what would happen if you added wiskers to the SBGH.

Great Work

Does Jed's reflectorless GH need the angle in it? Or is that just to make is have slightly more gain in one direction?

Yes, and it also gives a wider beamwidth on the backside.

Would a NAROD bent at the same angle allow this antenna to recieve Hi-VHF. I'm looking for ch 9 and 11 specifically

Probably, but I'll have to check to make sure there arent any unintended consequences. NARODs in general are very sensitive to gain direction flipping. And just because the v is pointed one way doesnt mean the peak gain direction is that way, as I found out when trying to turn my small Antennacraft corner reflector into a CM2016 clone, heh.
