I'm picking up my Limited Edition copy tomorrow... this has been a title I've been anticipating ever since I first saw screenshots of it.

Also, are you using the controller, or the Microsoft wheel?

I have both but I mostly use the controller,

I got the limited edition but a lot of the content isn't working yet, Turn 10 is having problems

Played the demo, looked nice, controlled well, but I really hate that you have to use the triggers for gas and brake. I prefer using them to shift like so many other racing games will let you do. I'm going to wait for GT5 and try them both before making my decision.

the triggers allow for more realistic feel, got to ease on the brake, not just hammer it,

same with the throttle, can't just put the pedal down on a high hp car and expect too hook up

You have to do the same with the analog stick as well in any other racing game. It feels unnatural after so many years of using the stick for gas and brake and the shoulder buttons of shifting. Would it be so hard to have an option to change the control layout? Nope. Definitely a point against it.

FM3 has several configuration options for the controller that the demo didn't show.

I think the trigger is better than the stick cause you can apply breaks and gas at the same time, can't do that with the stick!

With the triggers for gas and brake., I find it is to awkward to shift with the buttons. And I hate automatic as this takes away from the racing experience (auto is for non-purists I say). The triggers give it that paddle shifter feel which I really enjoy.

I picked up the 360 wheel yesterday since it's currently $20 off. I have to say, it's a pretty decent wheel especially for the price. I own a Logitech G25 and although it's easily better the 360 wheel does an admirable job. It'll tide me over until my Fanatec 911 Turbo S comes in December.

Anyone else preorder the game from EBGames? If so, did you get the voucher to redeem the special Audi car that was offered?
