I haven't watched last night's episode yet, but it sure isn't sounding very good!

Well, at least it's not as though I'm expecting a lot from the show anymore...

Watched the show last night. Meh, whatever.

Sylar, as always, was good fun.

Parkman, dead or alive, remains a schlub.

Claire is cute but annoying:
"Dad, I'm all grown up. I can handle my own problems."
"Okay, honey."
"Help, daddy, help!"
"There, there, my little Claire-bear."
And now she's lost her girlfriend.

Emma - a deaf woman with, so far, a useless power, redeems herself in a scene that couldn't have been more cringingly or obviously set up. And although her deafness is repeatedly shown to be isolating her and making her unhappy, I like how they've just avoided the whole issue of having Peter "cure" her of it.

Samuel - Mr. "Family and loyalty are what it's all about but if I don't like what someone's doing I'll kill him!" - and his cutesy little Irish accent ("JesusJosephandMary!") have worn very thin.

Peter, Hero, Nathan: Who cares.

I'm not going to get into how the writers have come up with some of these weird powers, but my understanding of Jeremy Greer's power was the "ability to instantly heal near-death living things" as mentioned in the wikipedia summary of that episode. He can either take away your life, or reverse the flow when you're about to lose you life. Peter can save dying patients, but not heal their small wounds or restore Emma's hearing. For what it's worth...

(I'm only watching this show by now because it's the only one the entire family still follows.)

Hmmm...good point. I seem to have confused his current healing power with the one he had acquired from Claire(-bear).

Well, I watched it last night. Don't know why I bother.

The whole "sylar needs love" bit and "boohoo Nathan is gone" was just so over the top.

This show is like a revolving door. It spins around like crazy, but goes nowhere. I was bored out of my mind last night, so I think I may be done.

I watched it last night, and it was horrible. I hope that Samuel goes through with his plan (whatever exactly it is) and the show ends at that in about a month. Considering it airs on NBC, I doubt it though.

Default 'Heroes' actor searching for parents after earthquake

Haitian native and "Heroes" cast member Jimmy Jean-Louis was searching for his elderly parents in Haiti on Wednesday afternoon after a powerful earthquake struck the nation. Jean-Louis learned that a house he had grown up in collapsed, killing several of his relatives.

Unstuck the thread since it appears few, if any, are watching.

yes I am still watching.

I did think Samuel's double cross was pretty brilliant especially since he cooked it up in about three minutes between when Claire told him his Dad was out there and when the shooting began!

I couldn't stand watching that episode. It just annoyed me. I ended up FF after that point and eventually just ended it. I'll keep watching it to the end of this season though...I guess I like the punishment.

Cool was Samuel going to shoot people anyway?

I doubt he could have arranged for Mr. Duplicates to get in the woods with a rifle on a moment's notice, so I figure he had that planned already and Noah just happened to be in the wrong place at the right time for Samual. I thought Mr. Duplicates was way too good a shot, however.

Shortly before Samuel "gave himself up", Duplicates overheard Claire talking about her dad coming to take Samuel down. Samuel must have figured he could turn the tables on Noah and get people to rally behind him by pretending to do the "noble" thing and surrender, but have Duplicates shoot into the crowd (hitting him as well as others) to make it look like it was the government out to get them all over again. Duplicates then showed up with Noah as "evidence" and, voilà, Samuel is a hero.

That being said, it was all pretty boring. Again.
