Default What happens to new House season on Global?

I don't follow the series but my brother and wife do and they say tonite's Global feed was a re-run from old season. Checking guide on Shaw DVR we suspect the same thing will happen next week. I told my brother to schedule to record from US east coast feed instead, in fear that US west coast feed may just simsub Global.

Anyways, anybody knows why no new House episodes on Global? Anything to do with Canwest financial problem?

I believe it was a rerun on Fox as well. Two & A Half Men was a rerun as well.

Many shows were reruns last week and this week. Don't panic, this has absolutely nothing to due with CanWest. Many shows typically take a break for a week or two and I suspect in this particular case it may be by design due to baseball.

Default AFAIK:

Most of the more established shows were repeats last night. NCIS is a repeat tonight as well. But with November sweeps coming look for new episodes.

Yes it is due to Fox MLB coverage so many Fox shows will take breaks around World Series coverage.

The "House" broadcast schedule is controlled by Fox, which had "So You Think You Can Dance" on Monday. The next new episode of "House" will be Nov. 9, after the World Series.

Ah, that makes perfect sense! Thank you all. I notice most if not all late nite talk shows were re-run last week or so.

This happened last year as well. Most Fox series go on hiatus during basaball playoffs to avoid scheduling conflicts.
