Default Rogers Cable in Georgetown??

Rogers has a new Retail outlet in the Georgetown mall advertising it's home phone, cable products etc, however this is a cogeco market. The rep indicated Rogers will be in town by the end of the year. Does anyone know of this??

I bet this has more to do with Wireless than Cable.

I asked about home phone and cable and the rep specifically said they would offer it end of year. No way to find out whats going on I guess.

A front line rep wouldn't have access to this sort of information.

If Rogers starts buy Cogeco areas a press release will be forthcoming.

Rogers applied to the CRTC a year or two ago to overbuild certain Cogeco areas, at the same time they applied to overbuild Aurora to force Aurora Cable into selling. Perhaps this is related to that? They got approval in Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2008-11 for Halton Hills and that area.
