My day for problems. My 6208 shows 88% full but nothing listed. This problem started a few weeks ago when I had a power outage as I was watching a recording. When powered up, it no longer listed any of the recordings. I had the tech do a reset then but nothing changed. Earlier today it said I had 83% full. I recorded a half our SD program and then it showed, as expected, 84% full -- but still nothing listed. Today, the tech I called recommend pulling the plug for at least 15 minutes but that did not fix anything. Tried again for a half hour, nothing. Any ideas for this problem?

See the tips in the following FAQ:
http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=21274 Item 8, record a couple of 1 minute programmes and then delete.

I cannot delete anything since there is nothing listed. The tech recommended this, too. But, still get "no listings available" and a blank list. And anything I record does not appear on the list!

Well, I followed those instructions but no change. Now shows 93% full but nothing listed. Shaw tech coming next Tuesday.
If I have to replace the drive, any ideas? Can I replace the drive with a 160gb? My search on the web and this forum is ambiguous about this question. |
