I just read on the CBC crawl that BOLD HD was on freeview for BellTV, but I can't find it anywhere.
Even regular Bold isn't on freeview.

Just noticed that The World Fishing Network WFN Channel 419 is having a Free Preview until July 4th.

A little update on the promotion where some of us got 5 HD themes for the price of 4 as a "gift" for one year.

If you are one of them be sure to check your latest bill. While they did as promised and charged the full $15 then applied a credit of $5, they didn't do that for last months bill. I was hit with a pro-rated charge which amounted to $7.13 for the previous billing period.

I called BellTV Billing Dept and, in all fairness, the CSR admitted it was an error and applied a credit, but it won't show till my next bill. They said the computer automatically generates these charges.

Hopefully no-one will fail to notice it on their bill and end up overpaying.

Channel 1521 is advertising a free preview of NASCAR Hot Pass for the
Saturday night (July 10) race in Chicago.

Playhouse Disney (French) is a free preview on Channel 189 SD from July 5th to October 5th.

The Free Preview channel has been updated for August 2010!

Discovery HD and MSNBC HD are on free preview in August. Setanta also but for only a week later on in August.

My preview channel also says that channel 629 The Cave (MENTV) is also on free preview but when I go to channel 629 it is still locked out and wants me to subscribe. Anyone else notice this?

I did too, but today the channel is renamed and the preview is on.

I came across an HD version of MSNBC on my Bell 9200 last night...it was somewhere in the 1400s or 1500s. I couldn't find in my guide a corresponding SD version.

Not wishing to sound obvious but have you tried looking through the Guide.?

If the word INFO is alongside the shows name, it is usually an indication of a Free Preview.

The opening of the football season is just a few days away and what a better way than to have the individual breakdowns of all the 32 teams in the league.

It would be much easier for all concerned if Bell got the finger out and updated the information on the Free Preview channel or even god forbid duplicated the information on bell.ca. Who has time to scroll through the guide trying to find what's on preview?
