Hi folks
I have the 9242 and noticed last night that there was a gap on the right hand side of the screen when looking at the program guide. I have played with the guide settings and the gap is always there. I have a 65" TV and the gap is around 2" wide on the right hand side. It is the same blue as the rest of the guide. I am not missing anything, it just looks like the horizontal setting would be off. The guide starts right at the left side but does not reach the right. The guide ends on the right directly under the video area and the gap goes from top to bottom. It just looks like wasted space. Any ideas? The other question I have is having the PVR change the channel on me. Here is the scenario. I am watching a recorded show at say 7:45 but I have a scheduled recording at 8:00 (set to pvr not autotune) 2 minutes before the show is set to record a countdown timer is displayed. When the timer has elapsed, it will stop showing my recorded show and automatically tune to the new recording. I have checked all my schedules and ensured they are set to pvr not autotune. I really don't want to tune to the new recording. This has happened while I was watching live TV as well. I want the recording to happen in the background. I have turned off the reminder popup as of last night. I am not sure if there is logic saying if popup is displayed, auto tune afterward since I have not setup this scenario since. Thanks for your time. |

Ensure that you have set the PVR recordings to go on Tuner 2 by default.

Hi
I don't think I have ever seen any options for selecting any tuner. I know there is a dual tuner but there is only one output. |

Are you running the receiver in single or dual mode? If in dual mode are you watching on the primary TV or the second TV?

Being a 9242 I have a dual tuner but only one output. I can record 2 shows at the same time but can only output one. I don't have an option to send a signal to a 2nd TV. Apparently this has been removed for the 9242.

The 9242 can operate in either single mode where only one TV is connected, or in dual mode where two TV's are connected, and both TV's can watch different programming simultaneously.
Your receiver is either in dual mode, or has only one input connected to the switch (sw44 etc), or is not a 9242. Turn your receiver around and you will see there are outputs for the 2nd set. As well, your 9242 should have come with a second RF remote for use at a remote TV. Check the manual: http://www.bell.ca/support/PrsCSrvTv...&language=en#1 |

Doh
It is a 9241. Sorry for the confusion and wasting folks times looking at solutions for the 9242. Somewhere I got the wrong number in my head. |
