Has anyone noticed that the Stadium Rolex clock is 4 minutes ahead of the current time. Is the clock wrong or is there a delay in the broadcast?

I feel bad for the people who put out the money..I am sure there are fans there who saved their pennies to get there and see some world class tennis..
Alas..the tourney seems a little snakebit..hope they don't suffer the fate of the Canadian Open that was an utter disaster with the rain and all..

What a fantastic match! The spectators certainly got their money's worth today. Verdasco played an amazing game ... some those forehand winners were unbelieveable! Roddick was lucky to survive that one!

Who would have thunk it!!! While Tsonga played well, Roger did not. One thing I noticed was that he was getting very few of his first serves in. I kept thinking during the 2nd set ... is this a little "rope-a-dope" by Tsonga!
Just proves that no one is invinceable ... and that is what is great about this sport or any sport.

It went on until after 5pm. TSN2 stuck with it and joined Around The Horn in progress. That's exactly how it should be.

Just a warmup tourney for Roger...I don't think he's totally focused yet with all the stuff going on in his life..twins no less! and basically being declared the best ever by many after his French and Wimby wins. That is bound to give anyone pause...
I think he's like Tiger Woods..its all about the majors. Still, Tsonga is a nice player and very deserving of the win. This is a huge feather in his cap and I hope he can carry that momentum to the next match and beyond. I wouldn't mind seeing some new faces in the semi's and the final.

The person doing the score box graphic needs to wake up! Too often the score is wrong or the arrow is pointing to the wrong person scoring.
I also notice they are using a low def camera in the stands at the top.

Sorry if my earlier remark sounded like excuse making for Fed...Tsonga played terrifically and was full marks for the win.
Bob..agreed..I am in awe of Roddick's new and much improved game. The Montreal fans seem to love him. He can be testy at times but when the crowd is behind him, he's mostly a delight. I have no idea who is gonnna win this tournament. And Its great fun to realize that that is the case.

Agree, Robert, Tsonga did play a great match. And I am with you ... who will win is up in the air now! Which is great for all tennis fans. Look for a great game coming up!

#1 and #2 out of the tournament.
I'm really really tired of hearing that Audi commercial. In the US only the smallest channels repeat the same ads over and over. In Canada all the channels are like that. It's not only amateurish but it's incredibly annoying. |

I am glad I am not the only one that is getting really, really annoyed by the Audi commericial ... it is driving me nuts!
Fortunately, tomorrow we switch to CBC HD. Murray - Roddick final??? Would be a good one IF it happens, but with these upsets who knows?
