New customer to Shaw - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Just bought a house, and was wondering if there is any promotions (new or existing) going on right now from shaw to new users. I want a HD PvR and so do they give new users discounts on the PVR boxes?

Shaw Winnipeg had recently been offering a PVR for any satellite rcvr, you turned in, but I don't know if it was HD. Say one you picked up at a garage sale!
If you go to SHAW`s site, they are currently offering a discount! Although these are reburbished units.
Give them a call but everyone is very competetive right now so they may do better than what the advertise. Don`t forget Alberta, and BC now also have Telus TV, basically Bell with local service, and Bell`s PVR is very good.
