It looks like there might be a long break between some of the episodes if Entertainment Weekly is correct.

"An ABC spokeswoman confirmed exclusively to EW that V, the network’s much anticipated reboot of the old NBC miniseries, will air for a limited, four-episode run in November and then return to the schedule after the Olympics in March." ....from Entertainment Weekly

They might as well cancel it now then because nothing kills a show faster than an extended break.

Just another reason I prefer to PVR/download an entire series and watch it (if it survives). I make a few exceptions, but "extended breaks" really annoy me.

This show looks fantastic so far though. I hope this is not a case of the trailer containing 98% of all the good stuff

I never watched Lost but I don't think they had a big break after four shows of their first season.

An extended break after establishing a following is fine. Just look at Star Trek.

I'll probably save the first four episodes for sometime around, or just after, Christmas. The show looks interesting to me, but I'll lose interest with that long of a break.

It may fail, or they may do 4 OMFG episodes and really have people hyped for the following episodes. Here's hoping for OMFG

I don't hold out much hope for this series. They already halted production on it once (to do some "tweaking"), they might not even do a 13 episode order, and now they are showing 4 episodes before going on break. It's already got 3 strikes against it and it hasn't even been shown yet.

With all the troubles, maybe they should have done a mini-series to start, followed by the regular series in 2010 if it did well. (kind of like the original V did)

I just saw one of the brief V trailers during FlashForward and thought the actress looked very familiar -then it hit me- Morena Baccarin i.e. Inara from Firefly! And of course, Gina Torres i.e. Zoe Washburne is actually one of the supporting cast members in FlashForward.

Morena was also well known for her work in Stargate as a semi-regular.

We have noticed *many* actors/actresses from older shows appearing on new shows, more so this season than in the past. In mnay cases, it is hard to get past the type-casting.

Looks more and more like V will air as a mini-series similar to the original and only get picked up based on viewership.

I'll record but I'll defer watching until I know they aren't going to pull the plug on the series. I can also watch the episodes closer to when the show resumes.
