Hello - I am having custom cabinet built-ins installed and, as a result, my components will be hidden in the cabinets. For my HD box (Bell 9242 HD PVR+), can I replace the tv1 IR remote with a UHF remote? (I am running the tv2 UHF remote that came with the box in another room).
Finally, I'm assuming this will solve my hidden component problem: will it? and....any other suggestions? (ie. UHF kits? can't seem to find them anywhere?) |

I use 2 UHF remotes for my 9242 - as it feeds several TV's in single mode. All showing same thing. If that's the setup you plan on using check eBay out for remotes. I bought a seccond UHF remote for $10. Otherwise stores can sell you remotes for considerably more.
