Default missing several channels

...just noticed that several channels that I've had for years are now gone from the guide.

Some HD channels including HDNET and all the channels in the 900.

I know they just did a price increase.

Anybody else?

hmmmm. Perhaps I should unplug. If not I'll yell at Cogeco after work tomorrow.

Looks like some of my HD channels have changed too. I am in Burlington, also. I use to get the speed channel in HD and now I don't. Also, on Cogeco's website I can't find the $5.99 HD lineup list. Last time I was on their page the channels were listed but I'm damned if I can find them now. I looks like Cogeco has done a remake of their page, and now it's even more vague.

Channels seem to be back, including the 900 series.

Will double check tonight.

I had Cogeco reset the receiver.

Once again I have missing channels. Different bunch this time.

I also watch a few minutes of CNBC(#83) in the upstairs bedroom before leaving for work. Don't have time to watch more than 5 minutes.

Well, this morning the channel was Not Authorized. A few others in the same neighbourhour were also Not Authorized. Went downstairs and same thing.

Had no time to fugure out what I still had and what was missing.

Since today the 1st day of the month, perhaps this has something to do with it (not sure what though).

Anybody else?

First thing to do when this happens is to try a cold reboot:

http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=21274

The "not authorized" indicates that they have not properly assigned the channels associated with your account. This would be different from a blank channel, which would likely indicate signal issues - check your signal strength, S/N Ratio using the FAQ above.

Once again CNBC (along with a few others) are missing.

Last time, i unplugged the STB for a few seconds and I was back.

That trick didn't work this time.

Hopefully everything will fix itself before I get home.

'Not Authorised' on Speed, CNBC, Golf, TSN2, ToonR, WNYO (98), BET.

Also noticed duplicates in the 100's.

Is there some realignment going on?

Default Channels in the 80's moving to 100's

I asked Cogeco about this today. In my area, Golf Channel, CNBC, PH Disney etc are duplicates in the 80's and again in the 100's channels. Cogeco indicated that they are realigning channels for all digital format.

I can't find any of these channels in the 100's and the old channels are still not authorized.

Anybody has a list of the new locations?

Question

I just noticed the same thing last night on my PVR box downstairs.

83 - CNBC
84 - Golf
86 - Speed
87 - ToonRetro
98 - WNYO

I also noticed they are duplicated at 102, 103, 105, 106 & 116 respectively.

Both the new and old channel numbers are coming up as "Not Authorized".

Oddly enough, both are working fine on my SD box upstairs.
