The Sammy LCD does not like WMYD's new changes and has lost proper mapping and program info. The zinwell d2a converter box continues to work just fine though. Centronics zat502hd box also works, just the TV's integrated tuner thats the problem.

Agreed with Phil81. My Samsungs PSIP is all broken now. No more remapping and not seeing CoolTV. Haven't had a chance to try it on my Access HD yet.

Just to follow up, the Access HD sees The Cool TV and properly remapped the station. My Samsung is now pulling in the station after a bit of a delay, but PSIP is all messed.

Did WMYD go from 1080i to 720p in the process, or were they always at 720p?

WMYD has always been in 720p. What's up with CBET 9-1...not broadcasting in HD for over 24 hours????

Smile Ch 42 Sarnia

Just an update on why ch 42 ctv Sarnia is not as strong as it should be. I just received an e-mail from Janet Taylor at CTV and they are currently at lower power because they are using a stand-by transmitter. They are waiting for parts from the distributor and once fixed they will be back to full power. Hopefully sometime this week. I asked her if it might not be cheaper in the long run to transition it to digital but got no reply on that one!

Has anyone noticed poor picture quality on CITY 31 from Woodstock? I feel like I'm watching Bell TV whenever I tune in CITY.

TVO appeared to be back to SD again last night during and after the heavy rain. So much for their HD relay system.

As Phil81 has pointed out, the WDWO problem has been happening ever since they moved their tower. I also have a Samsung, which the problem affects; it doesn't have any effect on my HDHR3.

It seems to happen a couple of times a week and last for as much as several hours at a time.

update:
WDWO seems to be all fixed here since Wed when the EPG data returned. No more problems noted.

Default Cfpl 10.1 (rf 10)

Anyone else notice that the first few minutes of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon has a bad audio sync problem the last few nights?

Default WADL

WADL has added a new subchannel at 38.4. Right now it's a carbon copy of 38.2, but perhaps they'll move Universal Sports to 38.4 and put Antenna TV on 38.2

Universal Sports is going off-air nationally (they are moving to a fee-for-carriage model).. not sure what they plan to put there but I hope it is compelling content...

38.4 seems to be remaining Universal Sports until such time as they stop broadcasting OTA (Jan. 2012).

The channel bug finally says 38.4, rather than 38.2, by the way, but having said that, the EPG is showing programming information for Antenna on 38.2, while the actual feed is still Universal Sports.

Default MeTV

For anyone in the SE Michigan area...WSYM 47-2 out of Lansing has added MeTV as a sub-channel! Great classic tv lineup...

So WHNE-LD has applied to the FCC to move from RF26 in Clio, MI (near Flint, MI) to RF20 due to interference caused by CHWI-26. They also claim adjacent interference from RF 25 in Canada, which they claim is CICO-3. Not sure where they are getting that, as the only CICO in this area is CICO-32 and there isn't any stations on RF 25. Interestingly, they want to move from Cilo to Southfield and broadcast off of WMYD's former analog transmitter. That would basically move the station from the Flint market to the Detroit market with reception in Windsor being shown in their projected contour (https://licensing.fcc.gov/cdbs/CDBS_...um=1&exhcnum=2)
