naval jelly is an acidic rust remover. you want to thoroughly rinse and remove after done. also be cautious where you use it, it can harm lots of materials, acid not rinsed away or neutralized will continue to eat away matrials. also safety is important, using it is messy, wear clothes that can be damaged, thoroughly clean off yourself after wards, wear safety goggles to prevent splashes into eyes.

stampeder,
im very close to getting #13 (WVNY) with the small bow-tie...but I think im fighting a loosing battle as the whiskers are short, which if im not mistaken favors the high frequency... do you think adding a larger reflector will help with #13... |

I added 6" wider to the existing reflector on the rusted bow-tie, and BINGO, I got WVNY..
I had also tried the GE pre amp and no better... BTW, I had to disassemble the large VHF, as SOMEONE didnt like it hanging out in the garage...the fron lawn isnt wide enough, and no easy way of getting it to backyard...Oh well... |

Yeah, I see four antennas at least. I believe everyones referring to the antenna on the rotor.

kooguy, why dont you just ask your neighbor what it is, and post it here.
Also ask him about its performance.
