One interesting note - it serves up an optimized web page for the iPhone/iPod Touch for control over IP. And the regular web page looks much better than what it used to.

In the U.S. its priced at $1,999 so it will be interesting to see what the price will be in Canada. I'm guessing MSRP of $2,700.

This is away overpriced. I like Denon and am willing to pay a little premium, but not $2700 for 4310. I can buy a Yamaha 3900 for well under $2K.

i have pricing info. well under the list. the **3310 (in relative terms) reasonably priced under it's MSRP too.

..luckily i found a custom HT installer that is also a dealer working from his home office. bottom line: lower overhead = lower prices @ retail. they're in your area too.

**available mid-june

Interesting that they downgraded the amp section vs the 4308. I guess compromises had to be made? And still no Silicon Optix processor. That's a lot of money IMO to be lacking, but maybe they wanted to differentiate this model from the upcoming 53xx series.

everything in the new denon lineup went up one number class. the 4810 is replacing the 4308. the new 4310 is the 3808 replacement.. follow that sequence down the line.

Silicon Optix was bought out by IDT. The 4310CI uses an Achor Bay scaler IC, I can't find any information of it's processing specs. I'd have to assume it's just as good or better since it's had a few years of development.

I'm looking at picking up the 4310CI, but when does the 4810CI come out?

I noticed that Denon has removed MSRP from their website so I suspect that prices of A/V receivers have come down.

It's a great receiver but I just got a different receiver, so I will be selling mine. What is a far price for a 3 month unit (under warranty)

The prices in Canada are crazy. Online retailers in the USA have been selling the 4310 for ~$1200

I'd rather pick this up online from the bay that is e and self insure $500 it is not worth the warranty for a year to pay a whopping $2k+

The 4310CI is basically an upgraded 3808CI. Extra HDMI ports and 2 HDMI ports with a better video scalar.
