Default HDPVR Rental question

First of all I apologize if this has already been asked.

I live in Vancouver and was wondering if there is a time period that you must rent for before you have to return it. I wanted to rent an HDPVR for two months or so for the NHL playoffs and then return it (while upgrading to HD programming for those two months obviously). Do you think they would allow me to do that? Also, by renting I would be getting the Pace rather than the motorola correct? What is the difference between the two and why would I want one over the other? I ask because if they offered me a deal so I don't have to return it I might consider it but I would like to know more about my options first.

Thanks for your responses.

1) 1 month minimum rental. After that you're charged at a pro-rated amount until it's returned. So, yup you can rent it for the playoffs and return it shortly thereafter.

2) Yes, you would be getting the Pace.

3) The major difference is that the Pace allows you to connect your own external hard drive. There might be other differences but that's the one major one.
