sunnydays try this link for Canadian OnLine OTA suppliers so that you don't have to pay the miserable duties or brokerage fees:

Sunnydays,I've seen the CM3212 Splitter and it's an old one and very cheaply made,it's not even Channel Master brand but something generic.I used the Spacelab Splitter with 3.5 DB loss and they are more sturdy made and better quality, hands down.I bought the splitter at Ariza Tech here in Ambler St. in Mississauga.Just gotta know where to shop around for quality stuff. They have over a hundred of them in a box just waiting to be sold and btw their business is mainly FTA gears.Look for their website under the name Ariza Technology.Hope this helps you a bit.If you insist on using CM-3212 then log into Save and Replay (DH site sponsor)),this is where I bought the CM-0089(9444-New Part#) they do have the CM-3212 Splitter you're looking for,but I won't recommend you to buy this coz they are old and very cheaply made(don't even look like for Indoor/Outdoor use).

Hi flameangel,
It's not that I am dying to buy the product but since Ken mentioned the cm product, I figure they might just work good. I didn't know that cm's splitter/combiner is not well made and old. Ha ha. No wonder I can't seem to find them online.

Thanks for the reply and modifcation, flameangel, my impt channels, most watched I guess are 42, 44 and 46, and u said that the higher they get, the better the strength is, so WOW WOW WOW....

Flameangel, care to enlighten me or motivate more people by posting some pics too, hope I am not asking too much.

Hi stampeder,

I appreciate ur link and thanks a lot for it!

Tell u what, I am kinda busy recently but I might popped into those diy shops to look at some of the splitter/combiner and then I might just note down their signal or splitter "db loss" and I will post back and ask u what combiner is the best, is that fine with u? I hate to get the wrong one cos I am in a pretty tight budget recently.

Thats generally pretty easy. Just make sure the cable that your digital camera came with is hooked up and the software that came with the camera is installed. Then follow their simple directions. I havent seen any camera manufacturer make it hard to use.

For first time picture uploaders, ImageShack makes it very easy. www.imageshack.com

Just register and set up a free account there.

Then click browse, and find the picture you want on your hard drive.

Make sure you click on resize image, and choose 640 x 480 (for message boards). You want to resize the image to make the image load faster for 56K dial up users. Then click start upload.

Once its uploaded, youll get the "Direct Link to Image" address. Click on the "Insert Image" icon (next and to the left of the "Wrap [Quote] tags around selected text" icon) and copy and paste the pictures' "Direct Link to Image" address into the Insert Image text box. Your compressed picture will now show in your posting.

It really is all that easy !

No worries, flameangel, this thread is pretty hot and people who bought their 4228HD might want to modify their antenna with Mr Nist's instructions and some pics to look up to.

It's such a shame the 4228HD does not work that well compared to the old one unless u modify it.

Thats the beauty of computer modeling an antenna. You can take an old antenna (or a new one poorly designed) and tweak it to squeeze another db or more out of it, heh.

I'm beginning to think that it's Channel Master's marketing strategy.
