North American television sales in the final quarter of 2008 fell 7% to 10.7 million units when compared to the same quarter a year earlier according to preliminary results released today by DisplaySearch.

Has anyone maybe ever thought that it does come in one time that the sales dimish as the majority of the population who were looking for buy a flat panel have done so? I have I couple LCD screens, why would I just keep buying more??

My Old Sony Trinitron 27 inch classic still looks good on Rogers Digital Cable. To me HDTV's especially on the LCD side are constantly upgrading like PC's a few years back. Scares me from upgrading.
