I've been disappointed with the ads in the last few years so I am simply going to PVR the game and start watching at 7:30pm. I'll go on the web in coming days and watch the popular commercials then.

Several websites usually post them on a dedicated webpage so please post links to where we can find them all after the big event.

I thought it was nice and ironic of CityTV to run a news piece about the Superbowl adverts late last week on the 6pm news, and how a lot of people just watch the game for the adverts. Nothing like rubbing our noses in it

I know some big names aren't advertising this year like GM and Fed Ex. But other than Pepsi doing a lot of ads this year, I haven't heard really any buzz about the commercials. I guess with the economy so bad and Mr. Obama making a lot of headlines himself, there hasn't been any reason to really talk about them.

In addition to Pepsi airing a 3-D ad, Dreamworks will air one as well.

Are the 3-D glasses being distributed in Canada at all (I doubt it).

Do all these websites have permission from the advertisers to broadcast the commercials online?

Miller will be introducing one second commercials this year.

Yes, Blipverts might finally go mainstream!

(For you non-geeks out there, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blipvert )

From what I've read, PETA had no intention of advertising on the Super Bowl because the cost they would have been charged by NBC would be way too expensive for them. They make a very controversial ad knowing that NBC could not run it in prime time, then PETA gets all the free publicity of a banned commercial. That's savy marketing.

Superbowl Ads should have them all by Monday for those of us who are going to PVR the game

Pepsi/Sobe displays at certain stores in the U.S.
Good luck with that.

Or make your own from blue and amber cellophane.

Default Brutal

I find it amusing that CTV has fought so hard to block the American commercials (to the dismay of many Canadians) and the lead story on CTV.ca at game time is " 'Buy American' not protectionism "...is blocking the most entertaining part of the Superbowl protectionism??

CRTC Sucks!
