Question Xbox360 and invisible mode?

Is it possible to either block gamertags and them not know when I come online and offline?

If I block a gamertag do they know when I come online etc?

thanks

Yes you can just put your status as offline.

Just to clarify, set your preferences to appear offline BEFORE you sign in.

Hmmm but what if I only want certain gamertags to know I am not online but I want to show to others online?

Thanks

I don't know of any way to do that other than sending them messages saying you are on.

you could change your gamertag name (it costs 800 Microsoft points, which translates to about 10 bucks I think) and only tell the people you want to know your new name

Can't you just remove them from your friends list?

Ya, if you don't want these people to know your status anymore, just remove them.

Hmmm well sometimes I do want them to know and other times I don't. I guess removing them wont work.

I just thought there was an option like we have on MSN, where you can block one person and then they don't know whether your online or offline.

I guess I will sign in as OFFLINE and then message those who I want.

Thanks
