You could get Bleu Nuit in NS? Can't see that happening often unless there was tropo in play as the nearest TQS (now V) transmitter is all the way from Edmundston, NB operating at under 1 kW.

Most definitely Bleu Nuit with an attic mounted antenna. Is it possible a Moncton tower was re-broadcasting it?

Nope, Moncton never had any coverage from TQS (now V) nor TVA network affiliates. I know this personally as I grew up in that area. You were receiving it either from the Edmundston CFTF-1 ~1kW re transmitter on channel 42 or from the main CFTF 42 kW transmitter from Riviere du Loup, QC on channel 29.

Quite impressive to receive this all the way from Nova Scotia nonetheless. Signal must have been enhanced due to lake Fundy.

Well I didn't dream it.

It is also widely known in other provinces, such as Nova Scotia. It is infamous for being the first place many young teenage boys see porn for the first time; especially before the internet was invented.
I should have mentioned that the signal was horrible and only possible on some nights. But as a teenager you could imagine all sorts of interesting things through all that static and ghosting.

Understandable as Edmundston is about 365km and Riviere du Loup, QC is about 460km away from Digby, NS as the crow flies.
