I have a DSC PC5010 control panel. I tried to change the installer code, but I'm not sure if it worked correctly. Does anyone know the commands to verify the installer code?
Also, the original alarm company was voxcom, but I can't figure out what model the keypad is. It looks like a LCD5500 keypad, but I can't be certain. Is there marking or something in the configuration that can show me what model the keypad is? |

I found the solution online.
* 8 + (installer code) if you hear quick short beeps your in programming mode, if you hear one long beep your installer code is incorrect. Does anyone know how to verify the model of my keypad? According to http://www.walkerhomesecurity.com/ho...02711_r005.pdf , It's either a LCD5500Z/KPL5500Z or a LCD5501Z/KP5501Z. |

Both are LCD, but the 5500 will have 'customizable' text so the letters will be comprised of little dots. The 5501 is "fixed" text, so the Letters will be solid characters, not little dots.
