I've just purchased a DB4e from BestBuy, it will be attic or outside wall-mounted. Would you recommend this antenna over the 4221HD? I'm wondering if the beam width of the DB4e is similar to that of the 4221HD.

Finally got my antenna mounted yesterday, so I thought I'd share my results.
The details are: Location: Yonge & 19th Ave Antenna: Antennas Direct DB4e Tuner: HDHomeRun Dual There's about 75 feet of RG6 between the Tuner and the antenna. The antenna is mounted on the side of the house on a 15 foot mast. Only 10 feet of the mast sits above the eavestrough and is pretty much pointed directly south with a slight eastern tilt. Based on the reception results below, I'd say I'm aimed quite well. ![]() Regarding the Signal Strength, Signal Quality and Symbol Quality reported by the HDHomeRun, visit here: http://www.silicondust.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=4474 Cheers. |
