P.S. (Hours later)

Please note I was in a bad mood earlier and made a bigger stink than need be. I mistook one incident for another in my bothered state and kinda lashed out. I apologize to those involved.

One interesting thing about the Shaw Community: it sends email updates that aren't all that intelligent. For instance, I've been getting similar updates for weeks, and here is what it says in the "latest activity" section in all of these emails:

Quote:
Latest Activity
Activity from the people, places, and content you are following
DNU new activity by audacity
is wondering when BB250 will be available in his area. new activity by audacity
Schedule for DNU completion and BB250? new activity by audacity
So, these threads have not been updated in months, and I was the last person to post in these threads. Does it make sense to report "new activity" to me on threads or documents that haven't been updated in months? More importantly, you would think I would know about the latest activity when I was the last person to contribute to the conversation... it just seems odd to notify me about it. And if it notifies me about those same threads every week!

The outage on the 12th was actually us pushing the site live. It's now available @ http://shaw.ca/support and searchable on google etc. ( I almost said "and bing")

@audacity - Good feedback, thanks for that. I'm going to put that on my action list to investigate. Receiving those emails for outdated threads makes zero sense to me.

Cheers,
Sean

Has anyone noticed how since Shaw created their community, traffic here is much, much lighter?

That might be just a coincidence as the traffic there isn't all the great either. I still see more posting here than I do on the 'community' but I would agree it has been rather quiet here of late. Maybe it has to do with the nice weather we have had this past month. Now that it's cold again, perhaps there will be more time spent indoors and problems being discovered again?

We can always hope.....

Probably also due to no new price increases (sort of), no new channels, and everyone on here has already complained about the high prices of the existing packages.

I have not had a recording glitch for a while too, although I will be out most of the weekend so I am sure I will have a bunch that fail then.
