Last week I went to contact Sirius (I had put my subscription on 'hold' 6 months ago) after seeing that they had charged my credit card $17.90 for the month of May. When I put it on hold last October the service rep told me just to call in and they would re-activate my account whenever I wished. When I finally got a hold of a rep. she gave me a price that was full retail foe a year. I said no and then she knocked about $20 off the yearly price and stated that was the best she could do. I then said I might as well cancel the subscription. She said hold please while I put you through to our cancellation dept. I ended up getting some guy in the southern USA (had the southern drawl to boot) and he proceeded to give me the same prices the first rep did. After each offer I said no and then he said you might as well cancel because that is the best he could do. I was floored and mad. I said fine and hung up. Well, the service got cancelled but today I got an email from Sirius wanting me to come back and offered me 6 months for $60. Is that a good deal? I just renewed my XM and I got 1 year for $105.32. Any ideas or codes to help me get a better deal?
