A high pass filter (HPF) would help with that (though you may need 2 to get double the filtering). If you want to still receive the fuzzy VHF-LO (ch. 2-6) broadcasts then you could use an HPF-54 otherwise you could use an HPF-174 (or an HLSJ) to knock out everything below channel 7.

Similarly you may want to put a low pass filter on your CB antenna to reduce the amount of noise it is transmitting on the TV Bands.

BTW, neither the antenna you have nor the antennas I recommended will do well with VHF-LO. To receive those broadcasts you would need a much bigger antenna (with elements that are between 6 and 9 feet long ). You could play with a cheap pair of rabbit ears to see if they improve things. The only issue is the two VHF-LO broadcasts are about 100 degrees apart, so you won't be able to find a single direction to aim them; however, the need to receive Global on 2 will disappear when they move from 6 to 14 at CF, so then it will only be CHRO on 5.

Of course when the conditions are weird like tonight. I get global on channel 2 analog. However 13.1 of course being digital. Doesn't come in all that well. Daytime. Global never comes in.

Of course your current antenna will be very poor at receiving channels 2-6 (and I am not convinced that it is all that great for the other channels). Once Global moves from channel 6 to 14 from CF, they will have significantly more power and be much higher on the tower, so you should be able to receive it.

Where is the transmitter for Global? Ottawa or Bancroft?
