Freezes when someone calls - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

I have had this happen twice now in the last two weeks. Someone calls and the picture freezes but the audio works. Pressing any butons on the remote does not work then the unit reboots itself after 2 mins and works fine.
Anyone else experienced this?

That happened to me on my 6131 the other day. Not sure what happened at the time but what did happen is exactly as you described. I thought the receiver crapped out. I will have to see if it happens again when somebody phones while tv is on.

You want to disconnect the phone line from the receiver or there maybe a setup issue with the receiver.
