Default Rogers SmartHome Monitoring - Router Issues

I had SmartHome Monitoring installed a couple of weeks ago. I have to say that I have been very pleased with it. The system is very intuitive and was (surprisingly) cost effective. Installation technicians were knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.

This system runs through the DOCSIS 3.0 router to provide the monitoring service (wireless 4G is the backup). The router was running in bridge mode to my Netgear router for in-home internet access. It had to go back to modem/router setup to support the alarm . I still use the 3rd party router to run internet - alarm is the only component connected wirelessly to the DOCSIS hardware. This is my only complaint about the Rogers Alarm - I wish it ran through my Netgear router too.

Since this change was made, I am having intermittent internet connection drops - both to the alarm and to my home internet. I'm figuring it has to do with the firmware in the DOCSIS unit or the hardware itself is pooched. I have Rogers technicians coming back again to fix. Anyone else have this issue?
