Olympics channels on Shaw?? - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Hi I know this is really early

but we just got Shaw and we're wondering whether they have any Olympics channels without announcers like Bell does. We saw them on Bell even when CBC had the Olympics so it wasnt just because Bell owns CTV. But now that they do maybe only Bell can do that? They were really great because you could just watch the events. They were PPV but free--yeah weird but thats how Bell did it. Maybe we shouldn't have canceled our Bell yet but the new sattelite will probably take over before the Olympics anyway.

Do you think Shaw will do anything like this?

Bell has the exclusive contract to show these, I believe. They did when CBC had the Games, and they do again now with the consortium.

I think CTV is streaming those feeds in HD online though.
