I hate to point out that Me tv is available on Shaw in Vancouver courtesy of KVOS Bellingham, but it's sub channel (cool and possibly another one soon) are not. If one of your local american tv stations has Me tv as it's principal program (12.1 over the air here) it can be available for cable.

Extreme Makeover: Homes on ABC Spark

Nothanksrogers,Please say it ain't so.

ABC Spark is one of the better channels.

Extreme Makeover: Homes should be on Dtour along with that RV show with Bret Michaels.

Almost time to cut the cord with this Hindenburg. I'm tired of the rebranding and just plain crap, on Canadian satellite. The CRTC should make them divest themselves of the majority of their media holdings because it just makes for overpriced garbage......seems just like the cellphone market, now you think about it......Humm, we know who owns those now, don't we?

Agree completely. There is familiar comfort in many older sitcoms - you know what to expect - don't get surprised with what you do not want and can have some belly laughs and relax. Well, no more. DTour is a detour down a very familiar, over-populated, road that I do not want to travel. Lost me as a viewer - am deleting it from my guide. Wish there was something similar but it's all dumbed-down mediocrity dressed up as reality - not my reality

Default TVtropolis channel become Dtour channel

Around Aug or Sept 2013, looks like TVtropolis channel changed name to Dtour channel.

This thread to discuss this channel, now called DTour.

I tried to watch a couple movies on it - just got frustrated and turned it off.

Too many interruptions and annoying commercials injected into the program time / movie time.

oh well ... my time is better spent elsewhere / doing other things.

Discuss at will - the subject of Dtour channel / the previous TVtropolis channel.

Edit - Yes, sorry, did not start new thread then ... moved to existing thread by Mod - thanks.

If you think Canadian TV is bad spend a few hours south of the border. The number of channels showing the same shows is just beyond comprehension......Big Bang Theory is on just about every non-network channel.... Three and a Half Men is second and so on. DTour is just following the American pattern. Even the oldie but goodie channels have reruns of reruns of reruns. TV in both countries is really becoming the "wasteland" It only helps the bottom line of the providers who get paid for every channel regardless if anyone is watching or not. Syndication is the entrance to the money pit.

There some truth to what Lindsay 649 is saying.(Have Dish)

But at the same time there tons of shows not on shown on Canadian TV that's seen on US TV networks.

I'm not say there great or really up there but some are not bad while others are just intolerable to watch..

Whether your North of the Board or South Of The Boarder, it all comes down to this:

1) Show me the money(Ad revenue)
2) How many channels can we sell to subs
3) How much profit can we make.

It all comes down to the OLD MIGHTY DOLLAR

Whether your in Canada or the US it all the same.

Do you dance with a Polar Bear?

or

Do you dance with a Alligator?

Makes no difference its a wolf in sheeps clothing?
