We have the new HD PVR, I think it's a 9241. The other day, dh deleted 5 shows that are under one group (Daily Planet) and instead, all our shows were wiped out. I had many shows that were protected and the PVR didn't prompt for a password. Just gone. Poof.
It's not too bad since I'm more into Netflix these days. It was just bizarre. |

Try cycling the power on the PVR. Sometimes a reboot fixes some things. That's a hard reset - power button for 2 seconds - not just the remote power button.

Can't reverse it.
Check your menu for program retention and make sure its set to never delete.

This happened to me, too. DW wasn't too pleased.
I used the Remote PVR website or the iPad app to delete content after that. |

Sounds like your hard drives are about to fail. Same thing happened to me and then all recorded content was deleted and was followed by only being able to view a couple of channels. Bell replaced the reciever at no charge as it was under warranty.
