So long story short I have been tasked with getting POP email (secondary address to our exchange server) setup on both an iPhone and an iPad. This is a user@ns.sympatico.ca address. I have had some success with incoming mail on each device but numerous issues come up when both devices try to check the server at the same time (account in use on another device message).
I have convinced my 2 users to migrate to gmail (thankfully) so I was going to have their pop addresses either be forwarded to user@gmail.com or have gmail access the POP account on the devices. I am having issues with my testing of it using my gmail account. It says you can change the reply to address to be (user@ns.sympatico.ca) but when I do this on the web site it does not translate through to my iOS devices. Anyone have knowledge of this? Should I just tell them they need to use gmail fully and just forward all pop mail to their gmail accounts going forward? Thanks |

Using the gmail app for iOS you should be able to select the account to send as.
It's been in the android version forever, and I believe I recall reading it was added to iOS not too long ago. |
