Greetings and salutations fellow DH members.
Has anyone had any luck porting a home phone number from Bell to a Telus Mike phone???? I've been trying to have it done for almost 2 weeks now with no luck. I'm getting tired of hearing that there's a problem and it will take approx 3 days, and then hearing that it's been "escalated" to their tech dept, and wiil take from 24 hrs to 4 days, and after 4 days, calling back to find out it's still escalated and that the number still hasn't been ported. The only problems that have been mentioned to me are "It's harder to port a landline number" and that "It's harder to port a number to a Mike phone".

Well, Telus finally got their act together today. Exactly 21 days after I made the inital call to port the number. One week for each day it was supposed to take.
I'm now wondering what problems I'm going to have when they shut down the mike network next year.
