A further update After trying twice to set up the remote using the Rogers method like I did originally, it still only has the channel functions. Volume and Mute are gone. It seems that using the code screwed it up. I tried disconnecting the power to the DTA to reboot it, but that didn't help. Neither did removing the batteries from the remote. Any clues how to reset the remote?

Call Rogers. They should have the reset code, and they may be able to assist with a proper TV code, but perhaps not.
Make sure you tell them that you have the Delta Remote and not the 1055/6 they usually provide. You could also see if the PVR remote sends the same IR signals to the DTA and you could pick up one of those instead of the Delta remote.

The best I could get from the Rogers DTA remote was all functions except on/off. In trying to improve on that, I followed the manufacturer's instructions using the TV model code on the UEI website, but that just disabled the volume and mute. I called Rogers support and asked how to reset the remote and he said to hold the set button until the dim little light flashes twice (about 3 seconds). If that didn't work, I should take it back to the store, which I did. They gave me a brand new remote which I had no trouble setting up (other than the power button).
