Shaw Gateway with Sonos - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Does anybody know if you can plug a Shaw gateway portal into a Sonos connect:amp as an audio source? I would like to be able to have the TV sound from our cable box output to the in ceiling speakers.
