Moving - Shaw Services

Hey,
I've been a regular lurker here for sometime but could use some advice. So I finally registered here. I will be moving out of Calgary and to Westlock, AB. I will be transferring my shaw services with me. I currently have the gateway, broadband 50 and phone service. In different conversations with shaw I have been told multiple stories about what I can get in Westlock. The first few times I was told the gateway would be fine, but no phone and only extreme 25 available for Internet. Now that I actually am ready to transfer I have been told the gateway can not be there. I am also on easy pay and have about two years left of that. So the offer they are making me is to pay off the remaining $250, then I can trade in my gateway and 2 portals for three Motorola 6416 pvr's. I don't need three pvr's and I enjoy the recording flexibility of the gateway. I feel like I am getting a losing offer here. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice? I really don't know what to do here and I am moving in 2 weeks. Thanks in advance.

if you pay off the gateways and portals, you could probably sell them for more then the value of 3 of those old pvr's. and then buy a used pvr or 2 if you dont need 3.

Don't accept those PVR's. Maybe 2 3400's..............maybe. or.........3.
