I just bought a new Mac which came with Bluetooth mouse and kb.
Is this safe/secure? I can't turn it off as neither device would work. Thoughts?

The latest versions of the Bluetooth standard support at least 128 bit encryption. I'd say it's reasonably secure.

Hummm, xcuse me for chiming in 99semaj but those tiny 10m range transmitters can be picked up for up to 1 1/2 mile using a 2 4 GHz yagi and the will to do so. There are videos out there of guys evesdropping on headset conversions (over BT 1.2).
