I don't even see Bell Aliant on that list, denben73.
Ironically, a year and a half ago, when I was looking to ditch Bell Satellite, I was considering both Eastlink and Bell Aliant FibreOp. I eventually settled on Eastlink, and it appears that I made the correct choice.
Yes, it would be cool if Eastlink added WWOR, and are they even aware that that channel is allowed to be carried in Canada?
I wonder why Rogers and Bell have never carried WWOR since it's available and carries lots of Baseball games. I'm thinking Rogers won't offer it unless Bell gets it first.
Another channel that is on the list of eligible services is KWGN Denver. I don't think anyone carries that one or ever has. For about a year back in 2000, online guides had KWGN listed on channel 120 for Rogers but to my knowledge it was never added.
Another thing that annoys me is that Rogers is still not offering either WNYO or WNLO in HD while Bell Fibe has them in Toronto. Since I already receive them in HD OTA then my point is moot I guess.
For people that are keeping track of missing channel counts, Telus has recently added the following channels, which aren't carried by any of the other providers:
CMT HD
CosmoTV HD
Nickelodeon HD
Sundance HD
Treehouse HD
Thanks for the Peachtree info. I corrected my previous post. Does everyone have Peachtree TV HD? I searched and couldn't find it on any missing channel list, unless it goes by another name.
Used to be TBS back when that channel was transmitting WTBS OTA in Atlanta. Later, it was renamed Peachtree and Canadians have been without the real TBS ever since.
I would much rather have TBS than Peachtree. Canadian providers should get it approved by the CRTC (since it once was before and their programming really hasn't changed).

I don't think you can call this one missing, since Bell Aliant operates in the Maritimes where Leafs TV isn't available from anybody due to NHL regional rights restrictions.
It'd be like saying that Shaw in Calgary is missing TSN-Montreal or Sportsnet-Sens. Maybe they are, but if they had them they'd be 100% blackout anyway.
A case could also be made that channels like CityNews HD won't likely be added in the Atlantic, nor would CP24 HD or BC1 as they are all regional news channels.
Rogers doesn't seem to be adding any SHAW or Corus HD channels now, and I suspect they won't until contracts get renegotiated. When they finally added ABC Spark they didn't provide the HD channel for it. This is just my suspicion.
