I recently moved my boat to a marina located on the eastern edge of Kingston, Ontario and I am having huge problems with Bell Mobility. 90% of the time my phone will show "No Service". If I do get a signal it is extremely weak so I can't use my phone or MiFi mobile hotspot. I would like to find out if Bell intends to increase the coverage in the area or if I should switch to another carrier. I noticed Rogers users have no problems at all with cell reception there so it has been very frustrating. I have asked Bell tech support about this and can't get a real answer from them.
Anyone on this board knows of a good carrier for the Kingston/Gananoque area? Moxieskipper

In that area, your options are the Bell/Telus network (Bell, Telus, Virgin, Koodo) or the Rogers network (Rogers, Fido). If you're having difficulty with the Bell/Telus network, then your only alternative is the Rogers network. That means Rogers, Fido, or one of the MVNOs that use the Rogers network (SpeakOut 7Eleven and Petro Canada Mobile are the prominent ones).
