Default Mozilla FireFox keeps loosing focus

Mozilla FireFox, has for the last few days developed this nasty habit of losing focus and going into the background when a page, heavy with ads or multimedia content is loaded. Happens on a large weather site, happens here, and many newspaper sites.

Seems it all started with the latest Flash update of a few days ago.

Happened on FF v12 and now I'm at v13 of FireFox and it still happens...

Win7, x64 platform.

Anyone else?

My Firefox kept crashing after the last Flash update. It has been fine since I uninstalled the update. I'm not yet on Firefox 12. Win7, x64 too though.

Firefox 13 here. No crashes, just loses focus. Really annoying...

I am on FF 13.0 with the very latest Flash 11.3.300.257

Firefox is just fine but the new Flash crashes a few times a day.

Just as I checked the FF release before typing this I got an auto update to FF 13.01.

FF 13.0 and Flash 11.3.300.257 running fine and no crashes with these settings:
Use autoscrolling - on
Use smooth scrolling - off
Use hardware acceleration - on

Hmmm... My guess seems correct... The problem started after that last flash update and now I've disabled Flash in FF... So far... so good. Most sites haven't complained about the lack of Flash.

More testing to do....

Default How to keep Flash from re-enabling itself

I disable the Flash plug-in for normal browsing.

It randomly re-enables itself, then focus gets lost.

I disable Flash, browsing is just fine, without flash stuff working. If I want it working, I should be able to enable it myself, then disable it again.... It likes to re-enable itself on it's own... Grrrrrrr....

Thoughts anyone?

Can't find a way to delete it either... FF v13.0
