TSN's exclusive live coverage begins Friday, May 4 at 5am et/2am pt with U.S.A. vs. France followed by Canada's opening game against Slovakia at 9am et/6am pt. Coverage includes all of Canada and U.S.A.'s preliminary round match-ups, plus the playoffs and Gold Medal Game.

The world rankings following the 2012 IIHF World Championship will be used to determine groupings for Sochi 2014.

All 2012 IIHF World Championship games broadcast on TSN can also be seen live on TSN Mobile TV. In addition, Team Canada games are available on-demand on TSN.ca and live on TSN Radio in Toronto (AM 1050) and nationally online on TSN.ca/Radio. It should be a great series, especially since all of the Canadian based NHL teams are out of the playoffs. It gives us something to cheer for... Go Canada Go!!
I'm watching the Can - Svk game as I type this, and the score is 3 to 2 for Canada.

Hockey- so much better on the big ice. Camera angles could be better, but how the game opens up is great.

I thought I was the only Canadian who thought this. I love the Worlds, especially come the knockout rounds. Anyone can beat anyone among the top 8 teams in the world. Quarterfinal day is amazing to watch.

I dont get tsn.ca .. why are they not listing the score of the current inprogess Canadian QF game? Was first place I went to check, and their ticker has it at 0-0 (aka not started).

In fact, theres no mention of the score anywhere on their site. I guess maybe they are protecting it because it started earlier.. but they are only replaying it on TSN2 way later tonight..??

So I check tv, and its Romanuk calling the game (I think). wonder when last time he did anything for tsn? (IT IS OVER!!...)

I thought Romanuk did the tournament every year or am I thinking of the Spengler Cup? I know he does some stuff for Eurosport as I've recognised his voice a few times when I've had the channel on in hotels across the pond.

Sportsnet had the spengler up until this year( or last?), havent watched since its been on tsn/tsn2, so maybe youre right. And yes, he usually does the Spengler cup.

Just a voice I havent heard in a long time on tsn. Wonder where Gary Green is?

@thegman, Gary Green is on the NHL Network...he does the Live Hockey program over there...I think its called On The Fly.
