Impressive. CRTC does appear to be finally getting a little more consumer friendly and hats off for a smart intervention approach.

Now for a little whining on my part...

Rogers argument that it has similar # of HD channels as some competitors in the region is a telling indicator: NOT that they aim to provide as good as they reasonably could; NOT aiming to be a leader; NOT aiming to reasonably quickly roll out the same services they provide elsewhere; buy hey, as long as the competitor doesn't improve we're good....

Now all that said, I'm still with Rogers bc their picture quality is the best I've seen for the HD channels we do get.
