If your window is facing the right way and the stations you're trying to receive are on UHF there shouldn't be a problem receiving them with an indoor antenna in an apartment/condo.

Yes, I know. In my old apartment, overlooking Lake Ontario from the 14th floor, I could receive UHF stations from Buffalo better than they were on cable. I've since moved to a condo, but even though I'm facing the right way, I'm on the 1st floor with other buildings immediately to the south. I can receive Toronto & Hamilton, but not Buffalo. Before WNED shut off analog, I could get only a snowy picture on Ch 17.
BTW, I have a dual bow tie set top UHF antenna. |
