Hi everyone. In the past few days i've noticed that it takes a very long time for the channel to change on the 6131 reciever. I've had no troubles since i've bought the unit. A new problem...

The guide is all up tp date and correct and when you change the channel it displays all the info ( channel number, name of show, etc) but it takes about 20 seconds for the audio and video to come in...

Is my unit defective or is there another issue?

I had the same thing happen last night (Sunday).....very slow channel changes with my 6141.
I checked it this morning and it seems that it is O.K. now.

Any time you see a problem like that try rebooting the receiver. Quickest way is to hold the power button for about 5 seconds. Sure fire way is to pull the power plug.
