I never even considered a wall mount as I want to be able to easily access the back of the TV. I wanted a stand that was not very high as my Plasma is quite large (60 inches). I found this stand and really liked the way it looked. It is only 18 inches high and is perfr=ect for a large Plasma.

And finally, here is the Home Theatre setup, now completed with the arrival yesterday of the LG 60PS60. I took this picture without a flash, so that the lighting on top of the cabinets are visible. There are 6 30-LED strips drawing a total of 10 Watts. This indirect lighting creates plenty of ambient light, and produces no glare. The TV is also wall-mounted, using a kit from Monoprice.
Wall mounting is definitely a personal choice. I like the clean, custom presentation, as well as the ability to adjust the angle of the screen to suit the seating, and reduce glare. Your results may vary. Last edited by TechieFreak; 2009-07-13 at 12:56 AM. |
