How to backup video from SA8300HD - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Hi,

I have many episodes recorded in SA8300HD. I wanted to back up some on DVD-R, and planning to hook up with my JVC DVD-Recorder. I have a problem ~ lack of audio output. Please kindly advice.

Here is the situation in details -
1. SA8300HD connects to Sharp Full HD TV via Component Video cables + Audio cables.
2. SA8300HD also connects to my Denon Receiver (AVR-689) via HDMI and Audio cables. This is because my Denon Receiver does not process audio via HDMI, thus it is required to use.

Any suggestion to my scenario? How should I hook up my DVD-Recorder?

P.S. Do I use the COPY to VCR function in SA8300HD for backup?
