Hi,

I am thinking of building some sort of a system to hold a LCD tv. I’m looking for something slightly different than the regular mount to the wall. I’m having trouble with anything. I’m wondering whether anyone has any good sites or pictures of their setup to give me some ideas.

The room is a family room 12’ wide x 17’ long. The couch is sitting 17’ away.

Let the brainstorming begin.

Here is a nice one I saw at a home gallery that I did some work in......

THis is a concrete mantle with a electric fireplace on the bottom and a LCD above it.....

I want something that will incorporate a 46" screen. could be over a fireplace or not. I haven't decided on whether I want a fireplace or not.
